Big Course Wee Course

ABOUT US

Established in 1905 in the Giffnock suburb of Glasgow, Whitecraigs is a classic parkland course which has a rich history stretching back over 100 years. The greatest golfing events in the club’s history are unquestionably the visits of the Ryder Cup teams of 1929 and 1933. The club was also honoured with the visit of the ‘Golden Bear’ Jack Nicklaus in 1983.

Today, the course continues to provide a truly wonderful golfing experience for all levels of golfers.

THE BIG COURSE

18 HOLES | PAR 70 | 6064 YDS

Whitecraigs has long had a reputation of providing a golf course in fantastic condition all year round. In 2020 the course went under a complete refurbishment of all bunkers, massively improving their ability to drain. Industry experts have since labelled the Big Course "one of the driest inland courses in Scotland."

THE WEE COURSE

9 HOLES | PAR 27 | 970 YDS

The Wee Course compliments the big course providing some of the most enchanting walks on the estate. A brand-new irrigation system was recently installed allowing the greens to reach a similar quality to those found of the big course. It is recognised as the perfect place for beginners to learn and develop their skills.
